The V8 Lancia Astura was introduced in 1932 and replaced the DiLambda. Production continued up to the beginning of the war. Most of the Italian coachbuilders practised their art on this model and results ranged from really rather ugly, through stuffy, American style, glorious and finally the one shown here that was built for the Mille Miglia, I think by Touring.
