Picture: WilliamArguably my most loyal reader/commentator, William (see comments on recent articles) has not only sent a picture of his solution to the problem of the rubber between the top wishbone and spring but has allowed me to publish it here.
And so I have! As may been seen, William has opted for a simple mount, using a 10mm bolt supporting a row of ball races each 8mm wide. Looking at it I should say it will work very well.
