One memory of London summers that has stayed with me since I have been in France these past three years is the classic smell of barbecues in progress on Sunday afternoons. Some of these "barbecuists" seem to cook very strange things judging by the pungency that results. For the motor enthusiast who enjoys barbecues, the device illustrated would combine two pleasures at once, whilst those who wish to improve their "green" credentials could simply remove the "headers" and fit a nice catalytic converter (and make life bearable for their non-barbecue neighbours!).
